Minimal makeup day, New Years Night look to be posted later.
Easy, everyday, quick look, plus product reviews!
CGSmoothers by Covergirl- BB cream/tinted moisturizer. First time trying it today! First impressions: so far, I like it. Moisturizing enough for sure. It’s a good sheer coverage, and does what it says it does. SPF 15 is always a plus. There’s an element of radiance that it gives, and it feels really smooth and light.
Rimmel blush in Autumn Catwalk- the tri-colored pan. Slightly shimmery and gives enough of a highlight. The brush is useless, though- it’s something you’ll want a fluffy brush for. Really pretty color, and some nice lasting power to. Again, first time wearing it is today.
ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara- brow gel. Feels kind of sticky, but it’s cheap and does its job well.
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer- used on forehead, nose and chin to cover up some spots and give the slightest highlight imaginable. Again, first time using this one. Gives good coverage and the shade is great for yellow-y undertones.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer- favorite product for a while, on the under eye area. Yellower shade cancels out dark circles and setting with a translucent powder gives a good highlight. It looks like I slept! A miracle!
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes! Mascara- only thing on my eyes today. Love this to wear alone because it doesn’t clump at all but still lengthens. Not amazingly volumizing, but still really black.
Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Plum- go-to winter lip product, this shade is more purple in person than it looks in the photo. Moisturizing and has a nice sheen, just be watchful of the lasting power. Makes up for it by giving a really nice simple lip look- no gloss or pencil required!
Hair was braided before it dried, and I put in Moroccan Oil, Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Mousse, and Ouidad Climate Control Gel. I let it dry in my sleep, and added some Suave dry shampoo this morning for volume.
